In addition to full study support, you’ll be coached by experienced members of our team to build on your knowledge of the industry and how we work. Our managers set up regular one-to-one reviews to identify and discuss your ongoing development, identify any specific needs and create a bespoke training and development plan for you.
All Financial Planners must have a Diploma in Financial Planning to give advice. We support our people through the Diploma and the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), the professional body for insurance and financial services.

The Attivo Academy offers participants a structured learning plan and the opportunity to gain a professional qualification, while getting valuable industry experience and earning a full-time salary.
Following successful completion of R01-R06, you’ll hold the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. As a chartered financial planning firm, we want all our financial planners and paraplanners to reach chartered status by completing the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning.
Along with five years’ financial services experience, it’s typically necessary to take four or five Advanced Papers (dependent on past qualifications), as well as supplementary exams. We’ll give you full study support for this, plus the additional qualifications needed to attain Fellowship. We also support further qualifications such as a Master’s degree or MBA in Financial Planning.
