ATTIVO

The year of the big adventure

If the travel sections of the broadsheets and pages of specialist travel magazines are anything to go by, we’re not alone in aiming to make up for lost time. For 2023 the holiday experiences we’re seeking out are set to reach new heights. Many of us are asking ‘where’s the next adventure?’ as we look to indulge exciting travel fantasies and enjoy the rush of discovery, without the crush of crowds.

From the plains of Africa to the challenging waters of the Atlantic, the ‘big adventure’ is back.

No one remembers cutting the lawn

Now spring is in the air, it’s a great time to start planning your adventure. As the American novelist and poet Jack Kerouac (author of travel novel ‘On the road’) once said: “In the end, you won’t remember the times you spent in the office or mowing your lawn. Climb that goddamn mountain.”

The latest issue of Attivo Life Magazine features two of our clients who have lived and breathed those words and spent 27 years chasing adventure around the world. After taking early retirement (with the help of Attivo’s guidance and planning we may add) they’ve ventured to around 60 countries across seven continents visiting some of the world’s highest mountain ranges, national parks and glacial environments.

If you need inspiration, they recap some of their favourite adventures here!

Venture off the beaten path without losing your financial way

Whether you’re planning to trek near the world’s highest unclimbed mountain or seeking your own adventure paddleboarding one of the world’s great rivers, or maybe cycling a ‘Great Ride’, there’s one thing you shouldn’t have to worry about, and that’s the cost.

Which is why although we want you to dream big, we’ll always take the time to make sure your big adventure won’t knock you off the path of your financial life plan.
