A lasting impression

As always, Jonny brought far more than his sporting achievements to the table; he brought authenticity and a depth that left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance. Clients travelled from all over the country to see the rugby legend in action, many of them bringing children and grandchildren to enjoy this once in a lifetime experience.

Knowledge sharing

The morning was dedicated to a back-to-back coaching session, hosted by Jonny, with children aged six to 16 years old, before moving on to a welcoming and scene-setting jazz band, and after lunch. After lunch, we had an in-depth discussion and Q&A hosted by renowned sport presenter Jill Douglas MBE, where we delved into the principles that guided Jonny through his career and continue to shape his life post-retirement.

Despite battling with the temperature, Saturday brought together clients, colleagues, partners and friends to celebrate more than just rugby. It was a day of shared values, engaging discussion and personal growth.

A sense of enrichment

After giving us a memorable glimpse into his life, Jonny generously posed for photos with our guests, including the young and the young at heart. After spending all day in the blazing sun, doing everything from coaching to socialising to an interview, there was never a time where he wasn’t armed with a smile and a kind word. He happily signed everything from England rugby shirts to balls and boots.  Meanwhile, every child received a certificate and medal in recognition of their skills session.

A heartfelt thank you
