Attivo Take Part in Worcester Street Sixes

Some of us swapped the desk for a spot of cricket this week, taking part in Worcestershire Cricket Foundation’s Worcester Street 6s.

Happening along Worcester High Street and around Cathedral Square, we were one of 15 teams batting it out for a place in the top four. Organised by the Worcestershire Cricket Foundation, the event hadn’t been played in the city centre since 2019.

The competition saw teams split into three groups of five, with the winner of each group and the best second-place team progressing to the semi-finals.

We had a brilliant time getting a little bit competitive, all while raising money for a fantastic cause. The event raises money and awareness for the charity which uses “cricket to provide opportunities for every individual” in Worcestershire, and was sponsored by Worcestershire Ambassadors.

While we didn’t reach the semi-finals (finishing a modest sixth place), we really look forward to taking part again next year.

Finishing in the 5th/6th playoffs was a lot of fun, and we look forward to taking part again next year.
